Producing Your Way participants selected

Congratulations to the six participants chosen for our Producing Your Way course: Kevin Johnston, Fiona Keller, Leonora Neary, Lucy Richards-Syck, Oonagh Wall and Diarmuid Woods. Over six weeks this autumn, we will be looking at the role and responsibilities of a creative producer in the performing arts, from hard skills like fundraising, contracting, project management and budgeting to soft skills like tour booking, artist wellbeing, access and work-life balance. Thanks to Roscommon County Council and TYAI for supporting bursaries enabling artists to participate who might otherwise have been unable to do so.

Rose Producing is a producer-led artist collective making work for young people.

We believe in putting people first.

This year we have big plans. To produce Alison Ní Mháirtín’s new play ‘Pegasus the Clothes Horse’ at the National Opera house, develop interactive piece for rural schools ‘Museum of Believing’, and deliver Empowering the Artist, our artist development programme of 8 monthly Zoom workshops and an in-depth 6-week training course on self-producing.

What we’re up to this year…

An excellent track record in creating ambitious and innovative works for young audiences.
