New artist network

On 17 April Rose Producing and Cliodhna Noonan launched the Early Years Network for the Arts at an event at Axis: Ballymun.

This brand new network aims to build connections and community, and support artistic and professional development within the Early Years sector.

During the course of the day we shared our ambitions for EYNA, and then turned the mic over to the artists and partners who make this sector so special to find out what they want from us and how we can work together.

Our next event will be held on Zoom on 12 June 10:30am-12:30pm in order to engage with those who are not Dublin-based.

Rose Producing is a producer-led artist collective making work for young people.

We believe in putting people first.

This year we have big plans. To produce a tour of ‘Museum of Believing’ to small rural schools in Sligo and Roscommon, to present a summer-long programme of Irish-language audio installations and workshops in Wexford libraries, and develop Teddy Play by Ben Lucent and Othello by Sinéad O’Donnell-Carey and Ophelia McCabe. Alongside this will be Empowering the Artist, our artist development programme of 8 monthly Zoom workshops, in-person events, and an in-depth training course on self-producing.

What we’re up to this year…

An excellent track record in creating ambitious and innovative works for young audiences.
