Othello is in the very earliest stages of development- really just a shared idea that we think deserves to be explored.

The team consists of director/designer Sinéad O’Donnell-Carey, composer/musician/performer Ophelia McCabe, and creative producer Heather Rose. Heather is working on an abridged script, simplifying the story and trimming subsidiary characters and plotlines. Meanwhile Sinéad is thinking about vision and visual design, what the piece will look and feel like, and Ophelia is thinking about soundscape and audio style.

In August 2024, the team will come together for a week in Donegal town to work on 2-3 scenes, with the aim to record an audio demo by the end of the process.
